Ella never gives up, so neither do we!
How many people could dress up as fairies all in aid to help a little girl walk?
The first attempt was a puddle of almost 600 fairies under umbrellas and dancing in the rain. And due to popular demand - Ella's team decided to try again!
Papatoetoe High School held the second attempt and the clouds threatened to rain. Iconic NZ children's show What Now filmed the entire event live on television...
With only five minutes to go and 60 fairies short the fairies mobilised and men, women, children and dogs made wands from sticks and ribbons, tore down decorations for tutus and bustled into line!
A WOLRD RECORD WAS BROKEN with 928 FAIRIES!
